Becoming A Franchisee

Franchise types vary, from manufacturing franchises often located in the major centres with exclusive Spanline machinery, to Sales and Construction (only) franchises that are supplied with their Spanline products and do not manufacture.

Spanline is today a full system franchise which includes a total package. All marketing, human resources acquisition and management programs and processes, financial management and evaluation package, a full computer based business performance and project management package, including stock control and ordering, and a computer based design, cost and quantify program.

A Spanline Franchise area, with or without manufacturing capacity, is an exclusive area for the marketing, sales and construction of Spanline Home Additions. Franchises are for a minimum term of 5 years. Most franchises engage anywhere from 5 to 15 employees and sub contractors depending on market size.

There is a minimum franchise fee for all franchise types and, depending upon which type of franchise, there may be additional machinery costs.

Spanline will require a franchise to have a suitable Display Centre and depending upon which type of franchise, a factory area, sales and office areas.

The professional corporate image of a Spanline Franchise is paramount along with professional and suitable work areas and facilities for all personnel.

What You Need

You will need to understand the value of quality corporate image, customer service excellence and professionalism as a business.

As with any franchise owner, you will need to understand and appreciate the high value of a committed team and be willing to adhere to Spanline's successful policies and procedures.

A Spanline franchise owner must have the capacity to gain a Building licence and may hold their builders licence or will need to employ a fully licensed builder to supervise construction work. You will also require the capacity to gain Home Owners Insurance (where applicable).

Step 1. Determined if there is a Franchise available in the location or area that you desire.

Step 3. Once we receive your enquiry we will provide you with a Franchise Snapshot. You will need to sign a Confidentiality Agreement and complete our Franchise Application Form.

Step 4. Once your application has been successfully reviewed, a Spanline representative will contact you to discuss any initial questions you may have. Should you still wish to proceed we will issue you a Franchise Prospectus.

Step 5. Then given that you satisfy the asset criteria and wish to continue Spanline will guide you through the full franchise disclosure process.
